Hi. Does anyone know where i can get some good detox/cleansing tablets? I usually buy Holland and Barratts 'BioCleanse' which is fantastic, but they are out of stock in store and on the website.
If anyone has used any that seem to have worked, i would be very grateful.
I found the Holland & Barratt Bio-Cleanse Difficult to swallow - and they taste foul These were much better tasting - Boots Detox 5 Day Plan Apple Flavour
If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours,
It wont cost you anything!

Thanks. I will give them a go.I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0 -
Thank you for the advice but a search on the internet will give me that information. I do try to eat as healthy as possible but like most people, i am not perfect. I suffer from IBS and find that detox tablets taken every 3 months or so actually help me- my stomach is flatter and less bloated, my skin is clearer and i have more energy. That isn't a figment of my imagination. I wouldn't be using the tablets if they weren't helping me!
I actually want someone who uses detox tablets to let me know which ones have helped them - that was the whole point of the question. And i don't think my response was over the top - i resent being told i am wasting my money and being preached to when all i am looking for is an answer - not an opinion.
Judging by the replies you have received do you think it's possible there aren't that many people who have tried them and have been helped by them?

It is possible. The main thing is they help me...I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0 -
I wondered what you need them for? If it is for IBS you could try this supplement which is excellent and might be a bit easier on the system then lots of de-toxing.

The website also lists de-tox kits but I havent tried any. I have used Victoria Health before though and their product knowledge is excellent.

I think one of the best to use is Bioforce milk thistle drops. These work great as a good support to liver detox- this is well documented. You can get them at www.stowtotalhealth.com0

Thanks. I have heard about milk thistle. I might give it a go. Great website, by the way:money:I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0 -
I suffer quite badly from IBS but this last month I haven't had one attack. My mum gave me some psyllium husks and I just mix it with juice and take twice a day. It's a miracle - amazing stuff and I feel so much lighter and bloated as well as not having the makor cramps I used to get.
I bought a huge kilo sack off Ebay with the added acidophilus for about a tenner - just no fancy packaging. Just can't believe I have no spasming now and when I go it's a proper p00 :rotfl:Noli nothis permittere te terere

fattyrae1 ....... another possible option ... after having IBS for about 10 years and trying / doing all sorts ... someone recommended hypnotherapy.
Whilst cynical and sceptical about it .. i was at the point of trying anything.
I had 3 x one hour sessions over 5 weeks in october .
Hasn't totally gone ... but dramatic improvement . I also sleep much better . and a couple of hours a night longer.
every little helps !!.
Might be worth considering .. my view was "not a lot to lose" (except the cost of it !! . ) Best "value" £100 i've spent in a long time.0
