Picked up quite a few of these yesterday at the Maldon, Essex branch. Hadn't seen this thread before I went *doh*!

Absolutely nothing in my local Tesco though!

Just been using the paintbrushes, they are good quality and dont leave bristles on your new paint like some of the cheapo ones
  • The badminton raquets are great - we bought 2 for £1 each and a pack of shuttle cocks for a quid. We're going to use the vouchers off the back of the Nestle cereal backets and have very cheap energetic games of badminton! Very pleased!
  • The pack of ten long life aa batteries are at 47p in the tesco at Eastville Bristol. Also got car smellies and a hairbrush set for a £1 eah
  • Lots of things in Tesco Bournemouth (Castle Lane). I got a mini spirit level, a set of eye make up brushes, a set of 4 shower sponges and a screwdriver, all a £1 each, Bargain!!
  • Sorry to put a dampener on this, but am I the only one who thinks these so-called 'bargains' are a load of rubbish?

All I can see in my local Tesco Extra are a lot of shoddily manufactured Chinese imports. I shudder to think of the human rights violations of the poor people who have had to manufacture these goods so that we can have them for £1.

Bargains are OK, but think of ethics too!
