students selling essays?

I'm a BSc student, final year and often write lots of good quality essays as exam practice, i was thinking of selling these (not my coursework ones!) online and I'm looking for a recommendation for a good site.
My marks for essays are usually 80 - 90% if that's relevant?

Are you wanting to help other students to cheat? Why not get your essays published if they're so good?0

it's almost impossible to pass off someone elses essay as your own, from my understanding others buy essays to look at what sort of points to put in, essay techinique etc. As my course is only run at my uni (and wont be after this year) then directy copying my essay wont do much good anyway.0

As a teacher I can tell you that the trick is to get cheating from essay one, then your teacher won't know it's not you.
There are also sites where you can give people your essay plan from your teacher and they'll write you an essay for £10 at whatever grade you want (I could make a killing offering that to my students hehe)0 -
well presumably because my essays are university level only uni students would use them and because they're sold online wouldn't they appear in databases like turnitin that unis use to screen for cheating?0

Unless the person you sell it to then sells it on in turn etc etc0

As someone who has done a lot of marking over the years, spotting plagarism and assistance in work isn't just a case of comparing it to something that is published. Collusion may be detected by simply noting changes in the writing style and language usage (either with previous essays or within the same document) or by other factors such including irrelevant information or straying off topic. Plagarism is also often detected when several students turn in similarly worded assignments.
I think it is naive to think that people would buy an essay to improve their essay technique. There are a multitude of books available on study skills at all levels.
I would also add that in terms of subject material, unless you sell your essays to students studying the exact same module on the exact same course at the exact same institution then they are likely to be of little use to someone even in the same field. There are very few degrees where the syllabus is consistant across universities and even fewer examples of where the expected standard is the same.
If you wish to assist others in writing essays or to improve their skills by following example, then I suggest you offer your assignments to the key-skills department of your college so they can use them.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
I think that selling essays can be a bit dodgy but as someone said if they're that good you really should look into getting them published.
Maybe a good alternative could be to tutor people in your subject?0 -
Presumably, as someone who is about to graduate shortly, you feel reasonably happy that your qualification will be recognised as the product of an education system which is rigorous and reputable. Why would you want to undermine that by contributing to a culture of cheating and plagiarism?3-6 Month Emergency Fund #14: £9000 / £10,0000

Exactly what I was thinking, spot on. I work very hard for my grades, and they are typically 65%-75%...... so to think that somebody could pay twenty quid a time and get a better degree than me makes me pretty angry, to think that a fellow student in this country is willing to sell their essays for this purpose makes me even angrier.
If your that good at writing, then why not join a site such as Helium or Associated Content, where you can make £10-£40 per article of various sizes, I have sold a few on there..... and quite frankly, would rather have competition for my part time earnings than to have my hard earned and expensive degree devalued by idiots.0 -

I am very, very glad you're not teaching my daughter.
Jen, in all seriousness, selling your essays this way is not a good idea. There have been plenty of good advice here - if you're as good a writer as you say, you should be able to make much better money (and sleep at night) by selling your writing legitimately.
