We are moving house in the next few weeks - Can anyone recommend storage in Belfast for a period of 4-6 months. Storage will probably include a couple of beds and a couple of couches as well as usual day to day items such as kitchen utensils..
There is one company Belfast storage but i calculated it could cost 500-600 quid for 6 months - a bit dear I think...

We used this firm http://www.storage-belfast.com/locationbelfast.htm
This was a few years ago but they did do a rate for 6 months - I know it doesn't say on the website but in the current economic climate it might be worth asking...0 -
i know Newtownards is not Belfast but it isnt so very far and may be a lot cheaper.
I was at an event at The Battletown Art Gallery (its in a converted coach house on a farm) a few months back and I noticed that they had cards advertisiing their storage facilities. maybe worth a phone call? They also over Winter caravans etc.

We used Dixonline to store some furniture when we were renovating our house. The furniture was brand new so we arranged for it to be delivered by the company we bought it from direct to Dixonline where it was stored for about 8 months. Couldn't fault their service and their rates were very competitive at the time.

Just to bump this thread up - anybody have any ideas for storage in the Portadown/Craigavon area
I'm thinking of moving back to the folks while saving a deposit for my own property, I've a fully furnished 3 bedroom house though so have loads to take with me.
Would I be safer staying put and cutting back instead
