need to sell endowment

just a query,
having getting into some financial diffuculty im having to either cah in or sell my endowment policy that we were just using has a savings plan. Does anyone more about these things, im currently in 12.000.00 (approx) credit card debts and looking for a way out.
I rang endowment company today and if i surrender i would get ( not gaurenteed) 5.300.00 so im wanting to use this has best as possible.

Sounds like you won't be able to sell it then,you'll have to surrender it.
You can only sell endowments which are invested in an insurance company's With profits fund.Trying to keep it simple...0
