Advice Please!!

Hello everybody im new to this site, ive been reading some of the posts on here, all very interesting.i have got myself into a little mess(it is little compared with some people on here).I dont know were to start, but here goes.
I was employed by a friend who's company starting going t**ts up at the start of last year,i had been working for him for 2 years before this.My boss(my friend) started to miss paying me,it ended up by the end of the year that i had only been payed 4 months pay out of the 12.
He went into administration in november last year.
I wanted to stay loyal and help him out of the mess, but by doing this i was getting myself more into debt,i already had a little bit of debt but nothing to much.
The company came out of administration and started to trade again.
I have just left the company as i cant go anymore without pay.I have got a claim in for unpaid wages.
I got a loan with my bank barclays for £7500 just before xmas to pay friends and family back money i had borrowed of them, and to pay for xmas, i really thought the company would be ok after starting back up,my boss also said that all the unpaid wages would be paid back to me,my monthly wage was £1500 after tax.
Now i have left the company i have debts up to £16000,i have no income,i dont think i will get a job that will pay me what will be enough to cover my payments.im of to the dole in the morning.
I know my debts are small but i cant pay them,i didnt take any payment protection on any of them.
Any advice will be appreciated, i just dont know what to do....

    Hi m.t.t

I really think that you need advice from National Debtline or CCCS about this, it may be complicated due to what I have noted below.

One thing does stick out and that is that you took out a loan just before xmas when you did not really have a job (although backdated wages are due) or you knew there was a chance you would be unemployed, therefore if you did go BR, the OR would view this as obtaining credit with no realistic prospect of repayment. and he would also view the fact that you repaid friends and family back before repaying other creditors as preferential treatment. This can mean that BR restrictions are imposed for anything from 2 to 15 years - sorry to mention this but this could happen if you did go BR.

Please do get some advice, the debt charity numbers are in the sticky at the top of the forum.

    Hope this helps a little.
