well im doing sod all, dh is working that weekend, did say he would take me out for a meal beforehand but that hasnt happened, he bought me a card at the start of feb and has left it for me on one of the shelves in living room, romance? what romance:rolleyes:

We only do £20 or so pressies too, I've got OH guitar hero - half price on HMV and used vouchers I'had in the account from a survey site. M&S are doing that meal deal with wine, a rose, starter, main, side and dessert so I think I'll get us one of those (still have a giftcard left from xmas) and have a romantic night in:smileyhea:lovethoug:kisses3:

I've got loads of champagne left from xmas presents from work too so I will be merry :T:T

We don't do valentines. I'm ok with that (prices for chocolates and prezzies go up, meals out are set menus and very busy, and hotels are dearer and booked up really early). But I'd like some extra attention! :) We're going out Friday night for dinner anyway... that can be our valentines meal!! :)

I don't do Valentines either. Don't believe in having a commercial holiday to show you love someone, when you can do that any day of the week, without spending a penny...?
I can understand why people do, but I don't personally. OH seems happy with that. So we're going to just stay in, possibly get a takeaway or something, and just relax, will be lovely

OH put a double on: Madison Du Berlais and one football team to win 2-0 and the odds were £96 to £1
The horse won (12 to 1), the football result remained 2-0 till last minute then penalty at the 94th minute :eek: made it 3-0 How annoying....That's it for today now..how frustrating though...:silenced:

With it being Sat we'll prob have a babysitter ok but don't know what we're doing yet. I actually fancy going bowling, or doing something low key that won't cost the earth then maybe go out for a meal another night.
