  • Well I'm going to Iceland tomorrow to see if I can get a small delivery from there to last us til Tuesday, some things are cheaper at Iceland anyway like 'Cross & Blackwell' baked beans 4 tins for £1.00 whereas Sainsburys cheap beans are about 30p a tin now. DH got milk, bread & cheese from local shop yesterday but even in there some shelves are empty due to vans not getting through to stock them. DD going to a birthday party Sunday her friend's birthday who lives down the road so friend coming here for tea tomorrow I had ordered a cake for her from Sainsburys which won't be here in time now so I'll have to see what I can get tomorrow instead.

  • Evening everyone. Stopped crying now, just v sad.

It has occurred to me that posting on here has a jinx effect - last night I said it had started to snow but wouldn't settle as it was wet, and it only made headlines with 100s of people trapped spending the night in their cars between here and Exeter

Then this afternoon posted how much I was looking forward to seeing LO and then the call came it was cancelled. Better watch what I say methinks

What is all the mystery????? Can someone enlighten us please as to what the mischief is? I need some light relief!

Bella, you should be on Masterchef, perhaps when you are less plastered?! You are making me hungry and there are too many xmas goodies around still for that to be a good thing.
