yay for Woks, sounds like a very amicable end to the problem !! No ambulances or police had to be called and the gas man lives to tell the tale and you have a new meter with credit, can't be bad !!!

wow, a few new faces last night (coming from a fairly new person here themselves )
I've also always called this the Arms for some reason.. dunno why, glad I wasnt the only one..
am a bit huffy today, landlord's being a muppet and I'm panicking because I'm not 100% sure I pulled the front door shut this morning and I panic all day because of it! I've got decent neighbours in my flat but still.. it's been left open twice before and I'm pretty sure I shut it.. just that little niggle of doubt, you know? And it would take up half my lunch to go back and check now

Hi everyone! Got two happy children here. Snowed again and school is shut again. They think it's great. They had Monday and Tuesday off because of the snow. Went in yesterday and spent a sizeable amount of time snowman building - dozens of them covering the school playing field when i went to collect them!
More snow last night so they're at home again. DS is busy on the Wii and DD is hassling to go out and play. We've got really fine rain here which is slowly melting the snow, but we've still got more today than we did on Monday.
The headteacher at the children's school managed to fall over and break her cheekbone! She's got a black eye and one side of her face is bruised and swollen! Ouch
Hope eveyone is well today. All this talk of food is making me hungry. May have to toast a couple of hot cross buns in a mo...

Breakfast is ok....but Lunch was always my favourite lesson in school. Just the thought of those roast potatoes is enough to make anyone want sunday dinner at 10am.

I used to do that in school!! But I am now having rude thoughts about sucking and rustling....:o :A

Supposed to be mystery shopping a pizza place tomorrow, but the school disco is scheduled for tomorrow night too. Will have to wait and see if the disco goes ahead, and then will have to reschedule the pizza job if necessary. If the disco is cancelled we should be able to do the assignment - snow permitting of course..
