Just remembered one good thing from my review, I can do a course this year - not as long or difficult as my masters but professional development none the less. Quite pleased about that. Oh... and I'm "indispensable"! :):):) (I think that means I'm stuck in one of those candyman machines!)

  • Hi

Have been comping on n off for a few weeks now, and thought I would put all my questions in 1 place.....hopefully this is the right one

1 - Should I enter comps from regional websites?

eg - i often see comps on here for Sheffield star, or Scottish record. I live in the south of england, can I still win?

2 - Are all the GMTV comps - max of 5 entries. I know the big goldenballs / real deal are but when there is say a camera or a TV

3 - can me and my hubby enter same comp. Some T's and C's say 1 per household , but when it says 1 per person is it safe to go for it?

4 - is it true some sites wont let you win for 6 months after a win....if so, which ones, I can save some time

5 - Empire comps never confirm entry - should they. if so, its not working and I can save somemore time

6 - when asked for daytime tel number should I give landline / mobile or neither?

7 - can I have a link to dodgy comp companies.....and if they are dodgy when folk post them on here, should we follow up with a reply poitning out the 'reputation' of the competiiton company

8 - if I win a prize like a holiday / weekend trip in london etc etc, do you know if I will have to go, or whether I could give to my mum or sister - both of whom have different surnames (appreciate answer will be general rather thna specefic)

Meanwhile THANK YOU to all the comp posters on here

    xxx
Hi, this would proabably be better in the comp discussions thread - the fist posts ask that all non comping stuff goes in here, but proper comping discussions go in that one, so that other people can refer back to it - would suggest you read the comping guide first though which is one of the stickies at the top of the board - most if not all the questions are answered in there by VG :A

    Good luck! :)

I saw it ... Its almost a good job her doc said she couldn't go to America, how gutted would you be if you broke you leg just before?! It's still rubbish though ... Get well soon Bella!

Speaking of the compers four .. Now three ... How is the planning going? Are you three still off to America together?

  • Yeah, poor Bella. Maybe she'll take things easy for a bit though; could be a blessing in disguise; give her a chance to get better with her other health issues?

    Poor Bella xx

Wokkies you do make me smile, so wish I lived a bit closer to you.

I found the bottom of the wash basket - it does exist :D . Wash basket now emptied and sorted, two more loads to go in the washer and I am done.

:oaww my elderly neighbour just came round(hammered on the door and nearly made me fall off the chair:rolleyes:) and fetched me a disney wonderful world of knowledge book for little woks, the local paper were giving one away then you can buy the rest weekly i think. My neighbour is lovely but I just wish he wouldnt squeeze my arm hard when he leaves, his other favourite thing is putting his arms round me and giving me a peck on the cheek and telling me I am lovely:rolleyes: He does it to every female he sees, when the people who are fitting the shower came round to give me the dates she said she had been round to see him to talk about the alterations for hhis shower and she said she had fingerprints on her arm where he had affectionatly squeezed her arm:rolleyes: We always know its him at the door by the way he hammers on it:rolleyes:
    anyway changing the subject
