I know for sure I couldnt do that job and be the person that has to tell someone they have to put up with that. I wouldnt be able to do it cos I wouldnt agree with it. I would get the sack within days !Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0

Larzy I managed to get from Lakeside to Brentwood, took me 1hr have told boss I will be going home early as not to drive home in the dark!!
So if you want to go to Lakeside the road were pretty clear:rotfl: :rotfl:

Ha ha - I think I will be mostly staying in today, I can't even see the bottom of my wheels for snow! Make sure you drive carefully home, its horrible out there xx0 -
ooh didnt realise you lived near lakeside! I not been there for ages cos it costs me £3 to get over the crossing and back again now so tend to use Bluewater more ! Prefer Lakeside though I must say !!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0

No i aint jogging today before anyone asks!
Paul made an interesting point of why the south grinds to a halt when it snows.
Going back to the 70's we used to have approx 6 weeks worth of snow so u could understand local councils spending alot maintaining snow ploughs, gritters and having the contingencies in place and the funding for the above.
As we now only get the odd day every few years it wouldnt be cost effective to have all these resources which would be barely used.
Obv diff scenario up scotland and places where snow falls more often than southern england xxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

Ha - that's exactly the reason I go to Lakeside and not Bluewater, its a good job the Lush grabbit bags finished yesterday or I might be tempted to venture out0 -

It has stopped snowing here at the moment
I dont think i will get any post today, as the postlady has to drive to deliver mine, so cannot see it...
I heard we might get another heavy snowfall late this afternoon x
