Went to Gatwick Bupa for an x-ray once it was not like a hospital and my sil was in for a while after a knee op but she got bored being in a room on her own, but the service and attention was brilliant.Silver Surfer, Always Smiling

Good Luck with the council tomorrow, you can't wait six months you don't know what long term damage it might do to your health. They should also pay for all your processions that have been ruined. Is it just your house that is afftected or your neighbours as well?Silver Surfer, Always Smiling

Awh cg - I saw your pics on fbook - not good! Blippity awful actually! I remember a couple of years ago a friend of mine had a simliar problem in a housing association ground floor flat. She was constantly ill for months and it was taking the council/ha forever to get their finger out - then her two kids got chest type infections and the doctor said it was the damp and the council shifted them to a house within weeks. (They then gutted the flat after she moved out redid something to the walls and the floor etc because the place was riddled with damp and not fit to live in - but it had been like that for months and they had done nothing.)
Stick to your guns hun - you are entitled to better care from your council!0 -
Cg - I totally sympathise!!!
Almost 2yrs ago the whole of my house was flooded & we had to move out to rented accommodation whilst they completely renovated our house - and we're still not home yet!!!!
Just make sure you keep on at people to get it sorted, cos unfortunately we've found that complacency is a real issue!
Hope you get it sorted really soon, try not to let it get you down too much hun. xxxThe Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0
