Hope you find your dress Toniq, the dresses that have been shown are lovely.

I paid £100 for my wedding dress, I bought it in the sale - that was nearly 19 years ago though. I managed to do my whole wedding for £1,000. Bridesmaid dresses, dh outfit, flowers, hair, day reception & evening recption & honeymoon.

of out tonight and did not have a clue what to wear but got myself a bargain in Matalan. Black satin top, red shrug and a red belt for the grand total of £11 instead of £23. Think I will need my long johns on under my trousers though as it is freezing.

    Evening all,

Havent been arond this afternoon, daughters dancing cancelled so we decided to go shopping (more window) and spend time together as a family,

    Welcome to the inn bryony,

Toni, whatever you wear you will look nice, I know someone who got married 2 months before me, she spent £1400 on her dress and £15000 on the wedding, I only spent £600 on my dress and about £6000 on my wedding, over 15 years later I am still happily married, she lasted about 18 months, so money cant by love, whatever you decide it is your day and you need to feel comfortable with everything,

Wow claire great win, you certainy have had a good jan, mine has been crap!

Bella, eating in america can be reasonable, it depends on whether you will bring back lots of goodies, is it New Orleans you are going? I have never been there, but alot of places are the same, most places have happy hour with drinks, beer is cheap but wine is more expensive . Food portions can be quite larger than here, If you let me know where you are going I cn try and recommend some places to eat that are reasonable.

KKK sorry you had a bad night, hope the pain is not too bad.

Spoldz glad you didnt ge lost!

Having steamed fish and veg stir fry, saving some points for some wine later!
