morning all!
I was going to go into Southampton this morning to Lush to get a GrabIt Bag but couldn't, as my housemate had a panic attack. Basically, she's bought packing materials from a company her removal firm recommended as it was short notice (arrange wednesday morning for a move this Saturday) and paid for 9am guarenteed delivery.. for yesterday. She phoned up and found out thecourier had a problem and so couldn't come, so was promised it would be here by 9am this morning...?
any sign? nope.
and they sound like they aren't really helping her out here, and she moves tomorrow morning and doesn't have any boxes! The swines! She paid a tonne for courier delivery too.. told her to demand some money back as it was a 9am guarentee and I hope she gets it - talk about bad service! But I hung around for a bit this morning instead of going to Lush and I know I'm going to miss the Grabit bags now.. oh well, if they're still there tomorrow, I was meant to have one I guess

These grabbit bags then... never come across them but we've got a Lush near work - what to they look like? Are they just leftovers?

Splodz they are maybe things left over from xmas etc etc but excellent value and got a couple last year and last for agesx

Mine has just run out too and after nipping into Sainsburys yesterday was pleased to see they're on special offer (half price I think) so it was £1.60 something instead of the normal £3.50 ish (and that was for the big bottles!).
Not sure if it's just my Sainsburys but you could check it out! (online is showing as introductory offer of £1.64!)

i phoned the lush shop in crawley and they dont have any left, shame as i would have got some, wonder if the lush at the airport would do them ?

Morning everyone!

Thanks for all the welcome backs it was 44 degrees when we left on Tuesday afternoon but as its so dry there the heat is really light and not at all oppressive or muggy, perfect heat in other words!

SOD so glad to hear your feeling a bit better this morning, your friends sound amazing, I am sure seeing them today will make you feel better.

For all the MSEers who are thinking of leaving of getting frustrated by the people racing to post competitions ... If they get there first then it gives you that little it more time to enter comps of chat in here But seriously I have noticed it, I really don't think it's fair. clearly people are taking the competition element of this board in completely the wrong way - it's not a competition between users to post the most! So please don't leave lovely people ... I missed you all whilst I was away for a week and a half let alone forever!!! :eek:
