aww lovely littleholly:D not long in growing up are they?my lo is 4 in april, keep saying to myself next year he will be at school and ds will be starting high school, wonder where the time goes:rotfl:

looking into booking friends for life conference in august, first time it has come to uk, for type 1 diabetes, kids mainly i think, down in berkshire though so a fair bit from us, £200 for family then would have to book 3 nights stay at the place, pricey but would give ds a chance to make lots more mates, need to talk it over with dh:D

Just trying to keep up with competition entries and stuff...going out later and will be seeing that certain someone I've liked for a year now...

the conference is over 3 days, so wouldnt have time to do other things i dont think, doubt dh will get time off but will see, if not i will see about going with kids myself, be a shame to miss the opportunity:D

PP, I'm not ok but I will be...haven't got a choice....just been the culmination of a few things that made this morning the last straw but I'll have wine and nice company later so it'll be ok.

Anyway, this conference would definitely be worthwhile, and as well as it being good or the kids, you get to meet other parents like yourself.

Hugs to all that need them ... I'm at work counting down the minutes till 6 when ig et to leave for the airport, can you believe this time a week ago i didn't have a clue i was going?! crazy! Had a pretty nasty tube journey into work with my suitcase, no one even offered to help me up a massive flight of stairs, but i guess thats they way people are these days

On a positive note for me I have had a call from the London paper and i'm going skiiing at the O2 !!!!!! omg omg omg... I have never been on skis in my life and only been on ice skates once and it terrified me !! It includes tuition though so hopefully I will be fine !!!

Right i'm up to date on parcels so now its serious comping catch up time !!!
