Too true Bert - had a couple of unexpected bills so looks like a no go :( hubby is bike mad tho' if my typings off its cos of the tears ;)

I "bought" and old motorbike for the princely sum of 1 pint of guiness back in the summer, I have been trying to get it working and back together for the last few months, trouble is now I can't afford to insure it or even MOT it so its just sat there...... I don't want to sell it as I have put a lot of work into it - even pulled in favours to have it re-sprayed...
    Debts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35
    Now £27,470.20 :T

Did anyone else watch dancing on ice last night.
How hilarious was Todd Carty, god love him:rotfl:

We need re-runs of the original Grange Hill - I remember starting high school at the same time this started (showing my age!!) I don't reckon he has changed much since he played Tucker Jenkins.

It was his facial expression as he slid off the rink and then come back in, I was in stitches, I said that he will be kept in because of the funny factor,
bet the judges were not amused! But yes it was funny:rotfl:

I have had quite a few bikes over the years, I even went across Australia on one a few years back - then me and OH bought a business which was the worst mistake ever, can't even afford to put £10 petrol in a bike.

But, fingers crossed a buyer came yesterday and is interested, so hopefully we can get shut of it soon...

Morning compers hope you are all well & happy - sorry havent had time to read back, just won 2 tickets for Supercross @ O2 arena on 31st but probs cant afford petrol to get down there - gonna have to do the sums :( they may be on offer if things dont add up although would love to go)
    :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Aww, I worked their 2 shows in Liverpool last week and had fun although the fumes did start to make my head and chest hurt.:rotfl:
  • Think I might join you. Sounds like an excellent idea:D

I've taken the kids to school, beef stew in the slow cooker for tea, bread in the bread maker, huge pile of washing up done that we couldn't be bothered to do last night.

So I think I deserve comping, chilling and procrastinating.

Hope everyone is well this am.

The slow cooker I wanted, I was about to buy it with Amazon vouchers I'd earnt through DooYoo and surveys and then it went up in price by 1/3. I'll have to keep stalking it...

Need to tidy my room and sort things out but can't be bothered. In bed with a microwave Quorn meal and you lot!! :D
  • I have just had acupuncture to treat an arm problem I am suffering from, and my arm is now so sore that my comping plans to do end of month need to be reviewed

I just caught This Morning showing the Todd Carty clip as did not see the show. He's a definite winner, we love an underdog and he will always be Tucker to some of us! Worth a little gamble I think :D

Got my online tax return done this morning so can cross that off my list - made an £8K loss!

Good luck to all of you doing weigh ins today - that has been almost a month of dieting now. Well done!
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!

    Hi Stressed,
Hope your arm feels better soon, cant have it slowing down the comping now.

Todd Carty makes the show at the mo, oneof the last to skate, wonder why, to keep us all watching, Yes he still Tucker, I liked his kids t-shirts 'fliping ek tucker'

    Had a giggle

    8K loss, sorry for that
