I really thought that she would be ok as they caught it early - she had months of chemo followed by 5 weeks of radio every day which stopped in december - so since she finished at the end of dec it has come back and is 8 inches in size and has spread to her lymph nodes - so nothing they can do.

I'm not even allowed to go in see her incase the weakness thing i have is a virus - it might pass onto her and make her really poorly.

Am still trying to get my head round it to be honest - i am very close to her - she child minded me when i was little and she doted on me cos had 2 sons so she spoiled me rotten, plus she is my god mother.

So sorry to hear your news Katie, my aunt died last year from cancer and it was very quick, we didn't see it coming - just try and use the time left well (I know it's easy to say). My heart goes out to you.

Tell doc that when you see her hun - may hurry the appt along a wee bit

Thanks michelle i never thought of that - the appointment i have at the mo is 11th march!!!! But that is from the hospital i was in so i am hoping that my dr can get it sooner xxx

CAnt hurt to try - or at least ask doc if can rule out infection - should be able to tell from your white blood count if theres any infection

They tried all that in the hospital but they are convinced that i have a virus that is hiding itself and doesn't want to be found! lol

But there is no harm in asking her xxxx
