aww no kerri, you was looking forward to your hols in the caravan, I woke up this morning at 3am when litle woks informed me he had wet his jama bottom and sheet, and quilt, had a pain above my eye, had a lay in well kind of, 10 minutes extra:rotfl:now mr wok sez it looks like i got a black eye, always happens like that when i eat cheese and have a migraine:rolleyes:

I was looking forward to it, but we are just not going to get the use out of it. It costs me £190 a year to store it and £100 insurance, if we are only going to get away for 2 weeks if that this year it is just not worth it. I might as well hire somewhere. Got a week away booked with my friend to the Haven site at Mablethorpe so got something to look forward to. Good price as well was just over £300 for a 3 bed caravan for the 8 of us, we are splitting the cost of it. The kids are mega excited about going away with there friends.

Poor you, hope eye starts looking better soon.

    Owww bless little woks.

Right, going to go knit some chicks as I cannot be bothered entering anymore comps today.

    Hey all.

Stressed - glad your visit went well and the weather was good for you. Hope you enjoy your trip to the theme park next week too! Stay positive.

Toniq - looking forward to having you back with us soon - when you feel ready of course.

Wokkies - sounds like a typical bloke (apologies any blokes reading!) not going to the docs when he really should! Hope he gets sorted soon.

Katie - 11th March? That's ages! Hope your doc can try and get you in quicker.

Kerrimouse - don't worry about getting rid of your caravan... it'll be worth it to get the money and use it on other things instead.

Sorry to those I've probably missed - I'm not very good at keeping up!

Really am being very lazy... sat on the sofa eating chocolate and watching ace of cakes!! Oh dear.

I know hun 11th march is a joke - that is the appointment the hospital i went in gave me - so i hope my dr can find me an earlier one as there is a choice of two other hospitals - so will update on monday when i have seen her - there is no way i can wait that long - one i can't cos of the pain and two i can't afford to have that long off work!!!

aww hun i feel for you, cancer of the pancreas is a bad one, rate of survival is not good at all, my dad had this type of cancer, diagnosed april 1999, had operation, got all clear at xmas time, the following year it was back with vegenance, tiny parts of the cancer had broke off during operation and gone to his liver, from being told it was back again, he only had 6-8 weeks with us, had to go through seeing him from being really strong to just nothing, in constant pain and all the more heartbreaking was ds was 2 and doted on his grandfather.

I would treasure each day you have with her, make it special, as i know however much we want a miracle to happen, the reality is that it just doesnt come, this is from experience im speaking from, so sorry hun, if you need to chat anytime im here

macamillan nurses are fantastic, if your aunt has one then great as they really do help, the only person who asked me how i was coping was dads macmillan nurse, no one else had bothered

    big hugs xxxx
