    10past6 i've been very grateful for your advice so far and wouldn't if you are ok to continue our discussions. I haven't yet acknowledged the court papers so is this my next move??

    This may seem trivial, but this is going to be your defence, if the creditor wants to play by the rules, then they MUST abide by them.

    Yes i'd been doing some reading this week and noticed that NOT was wrong (but the judge may think that is trivial). We have had NO termination letters.
    What do i do now??

    ps - my modem is really playing up so trying to get by on dial-up for now (yawn).

    Tracy, you must send that acknowledgment of asap, don't worry about your defence at this time, the clocks ticking away for you to acknowlegde the claim.
