Self Assessment Online & Payments

I've just completed my tax return online, though have not hit the 'Submit' button yet. At the end it says:

Payment due by 31 January 2009 £xxxx.xx

This amount does not take into account any 2007-08 payments on account you may have already made

When I come to hit the 'Submit' button will it tell me what I actually need to pay by 31 Jan (i.e. taking into account any payments on account I've already made)?

Well that's what I plan to do if it doesn't tell me. I figured somebody here may know the answer already though.

viz the online system only talks to the accounting system periodically. So - unless your data is cached - the online is normally unaware of payments made until an overnight refresh. So if you Login tomorrow - it should have the correct Balancing payment due for 31/1.
