BR and going Guarantor

My friend is going BR and is a gurantor

This gets written off in bankruptcy and they will not be able to come after you. Make sure the OR knows of the potential liability. If the debt was in joint names you should let any other guarantor know you are going Bankrupt as the other guarantor could be liable for the whole amount.

yes what Xbigman says, bankruptcy debts woud include any contigent liabilities including personal guarantees which have not yet been called in. just inlcude on the list of creditors.0
