I work in the field of Pension Education and Pension Guidance in the UK. I am a member of the Specialist Pensions Forum as well as being a Voluntary Adviser for The Pensions Advisory Service. I work with scheme members, employers, trustees, scheme administrators and advisers on most things to do with employer sponsored pension schemes. The views expressed by me in this thread are my personal opinions. You should seek professional advice from an appropriately experienced and qualified adviser. I am not an IFA.0 -
A fine was expected but I didnt expect it to be that high.
I guess the FSA have to cover the overspend on hotels by their employees.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

The 100m lost was punishment enough I suspect
Is this fund safe to use now, it seems to not really appreciate much but at least is stable.
The main problem I have with SL fund literature is it doesnt seem to show initial fees that may apply when switching funds?0 -
Hi Mike and Dunstonh
Thank you for the link you put on this site which refers to the FSA's hotel overspend. Apart from making me smile I have put it on my economics blog
http://notayesmanseconomics.wordpress.com. So thanks for bringing it to my attention.I am an Independent Financial Adviser. For regulated individuals like me there are rules on giving financial advice. Therefore any posts I make are meant to be helpful but are not financial advice.0
