I need good ideas for my husband who is 40 in August.
We can't afford a lot, ideally I would like to take him on holiday but I don't think that's going to happen now:rolleyes:
So what cool ideas can you give me, which are cheap and meaningful.
Any help would be gratefully recieved. I feel awful that we'll not be able to do much for him.

Hi Amyboo, rather than go into a long list of stuff myself, which I would love to do, how about trying this thread.

Personally I would go for a big basket of goodies that you haven't spent much on individually including a few handmade bits if you can, like biscuits or something or maybe go for a theme, things that happened/books/sweets from 40 years ago or from his childhood.
HTH, there are loads of boards that already exist for just this kind of thing, the finished hamper thread particularly is lovely, hope to see you there!God is good, all the time
