    Morning all

Going to see the consultant this afternoon for a routine appointment but I'm going to have to mention the twisty-pully gratey ache I'm getting when I move from sitting to standing, staning to sitting or walking, or lying in bed and wanting to swing my legs to get out of bed. Doesn't do anything until my knees move more than 15-20inches apart!!! It's not a pain but it is really uncomfortable so hopefully get a diagnosis on that. I really don't want it to be spd though:o

Car seems to be ok now -they didn't find a problem with it but gave it a service and said to bring it back if it happened again where the steering goes. As I'm going to Perthshire in Scotland in three weeks I figured I'd join one of these roadside assistance companies just to be on the safe side! Car should be ok for it's MOT in six weeks but I'll just ask the garage to look it over beforehand!

IA - hope you get the hole in your ceiling fixed soon.

Apparently tequila makes me stroppy so I tend to steer clear. However, it is my fave "getting in the mood whilst getting ready to party" drink so I do indulge now and again.

really....it's not hard to understand :T
  • Good morning everybody :)

IA - at your poor ceiling! I bet that's created a mess and a half :( hope they sort it soon... FAST...

I cannot speak still which is just great with a toddler around! I am whispering 'Elliot, Elliot' at him and he is totally ignorant to me! Thankfully we have some books with buttons to press to make noises so I can read to him AND save my voice!

I've received my first OU mailing and feel completely intimidated by it and wondering when on earth I am going to have time to do the work. If I left my job we would be -£600 a month - and I feel lucky to even have that after childcare. More than that really as I'd need at least a day's childminding to allow me to study. I just don't see how I can make this work. But I have to.... other people do
  • Oh lord... EON are here now and need a new immersion heater

Thank GOD for renting.. that's all I can say..

  • Cat-what you've described sounds exactly like SPD...I only had it with DS but it's not nice. However, birthing was fine x

Have you checked if your tax credits will go up if you're not working Daph?

My OU stuff has completely confused me, I'm missing two pieces of paper from the contents list and still don't have the forms for financial support. I have no clue when I'm meant to start the course either as I have no online log in details

  • Right, EON has been out.. They're coming out tomorrow to replace the immersion heater. In the meantime they've left it as is so that we still have hot water and heating what with the kids and everything. And yea as I rent from the housing association all the repairs are paid for by them. Thank god else I'd be screwed!! Immersion heater... new ceiling.. plastering.... labour...
