hi sammy - they said pretty much what we thought, take it easy, you might not feel like it in first week... and have given me SS4 plus 200ml of skimmed milk. which will be slightly more than i should be on to allow for exercise...

good to have execise in there for muscle tone, cardio vascular and peace of mind, so don't stop... and i said well once i'm not dragging the weight of an extra person with me, then that will help...

up side is, i weigh less than i thought i did! lol!! by a couple of pounds.. probably in last couple of days drinking loads of water and cutting cals in preparation so might go into K quicker... i hope!

i do not have Big G's support it would appear...... humph!

    spent £47...

told him i spent £30, and he was like.... "WHAT???? you're having a laugh!"

Yeah mine pretty much said the same thing till I reminded him we usually spend that down the indian on Friday night for two of us......:rotfl:

I think my OH is worrying more that I might just stop cooking for him....

Did your CD counsellor advise you to eat 50g of protein (ie chicken or low fat coleslaw with lettuce, cucumber, cress, celery and mushrooms at night... Mine did, she said the 50g of protein would make no difference to weight loss and it has helped me

I'm debating doing Slimfast for a couple of days to see if I could cope with meal replacements lol! I know Slimfast doesnt really work (tried it before, years ago), but if I can be good and not eat any extras, then I think I might try CD too.

nope, i guess that would be instead of the 200mls of milk, that is my back up..... plus you're in a different ballpark from me....

every counseller is different i guess! although probably shouldn't be!

snags - you might find Slimfast works this time... you can't have much to lose!!

i've put 12stone as my aim, am currently 16st 3lbs, bmi 39.... 4 stone @3lbs a week, 18 weeks!! slim by Leeds! well slimmer! although 12 stone will still mean bmi of 29, still overweight..! would be slim for me!

  • Well, I finally needed to eat something tonight - 1 pitta bread with a slice of roast pork and a bit of hummus. Not quite the 'post weigh in blow out whilst the OH isn't here' I was planning, but the 2 cans of cider probably make up for not having a takeaway.
