Jongleurs comedy clubs - £1 tickets – Online and box office code

Options
From yesterday's MSE newsletter

We’ve managed to blag MoneySavers £1 tickets to Jongleurs comedy clubs! Full price tickets are generally between £10 and £20 depending on the venue and the show, so that’s a really decent saving on a fun night out.

To get the tickets, you will need to book in advance; simply enter the code JANUARY1 when booking on the Jongleurs website, or quote this code when booking through the box office on 0844 844 0044.

When booking online, even if you’ve entered the code the discount won’t show until you reach the ‘summary’ booking page, so select your show and enter the number of tickets and code. Then continue through the food and drink section to get to the updated summary of your booking, which should show your £1 seat if available. Make sure you check this before you click ‘ok, make my booking!’
This offer is valid until Saturday 31 January for a maximum of twelve people per party. This offer is subject to availability - there are only a certain amount of these cut price tickets allocated to each show, so you might need to try a different night or venue if the allocation is already filled. It’s also worth noting that there’s a non-refundable booking fee of £1 for tickets booked online, and £1.50 for tickets booked through the box office.

This offer is for over 18s only, so you may need to bring ID. There are 15 Jongleurs comedy clubs in the UK; find your nearest Jongleurs.

I am in Oxford this Saturday evening (on a MSE Travelodge £19 room deal ;)), and tried the above advise, and got 2 standing tickets for £4 total, normal price being well over £30, so absolutely made up with the saving here! Anyone not having gone to a comedy night before is advised to try it!

According to someone who's selling a code on ebay, the code doesn't show till you reach the summary booking page.

I just had a trial run and you enter the code right at the top of the first screen and it tells you that it's valid, then you go on to choose a venue and a specific night on further screens and when you press 'buy' it will pop up telling you if all the £1 code allocations for that show have been used. If so, go on and look for another one.

If anyone is interested, there are still 2 seated £1 tickets for Sat 31st Jan, at Bristol. Well there were two minutes ago!

Selling A code, anyway. I don't know if it's this specific one.

I was just being nosy, and wondered how many people had taken up the offer and then put the tickets straight on ebay. Surprisingly, I didn't really see any.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jongleurs-comedy-club-1-00-tickets-with-this-voucher_W0QQitemZ120363650235QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Tickets_Trave_Vouchers_Coupons_LE?hash=item120363650235&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1298|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

This seller could come unstuck if the code doesn't work for someone because there are no £1 seats left. Idiot.

Found somewhere just round the corner in the end, had a great night, and managed to get 2 seats in the end as a few people did not turn up

You weren't the couple sitting next to the stage on the table for 10 who were getting picked on throughout were you?!?!

Yeah we found the parking down the road in the end.

We had booked barstools and they ended up giving us seats, just one back from the front row, so we didn't get picked on.

No we weren't the couple on their first few dates (and probably last date), we were two tables away though, but avoided eye contact with Baldric with the quiff. American comedian was freaky!

Excellent night and all for £2 each! Bargain of the century!
