Surely this ticker is wrong?!?!
Is this really correct that MSE's High Street Sales Diary has already had 3,305 hits by 7:20am this morning?? Other website that I am aware provide similar (or even better) information, such as https://www.januarysales.com, https://www.lynku.com/list, https://www.salemole.com do not get this web traffic.
I know MSE is awesome, but are this many people really logging on gone midnight, or checking it before they've even got out of bed? Also the ticker hasn't moved in the last 20 minutes....I don't get it!
Does anyone know how this works?

3.3K hits wouldn't be surprising at all, a site of this magnitude would easily be able to have that many requests by that time. Each to their own really as to which site people use.P.S. can someone tell me how I subscribe to a thread. Sorry that this is probably the completely wrong place to ask!
A little bit :P Click the Thread Tools menu in the top right of the thread and then click Subscribe to this Thread. An automated way would be to go to your control panel at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile.html?do=editoptions and under Message and Notification you can set it so that anytime you reply to a thread it's automatically put into your subscriptions list.
"When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread. Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notification Default Thread Subscription Mode:"0 -

Don't forget staff and friends and family of staff as well as people who lurk (read but don't post) on here, and the old faithful M&S shoppers who sit and wait for sales like this. And then overseas people.... plus the people who are used to getting up at 5am for work 6 days a week (many people do in London as I hear them and see them!)
3.5K is actually alot less then I would have thought!0
