i would say that now has you have recieved that email you have no chance, especially as another poster had guessed what you had purchased, because a lot of other people have tried ordering it as well, time to move onto the next bargain, dave

Now that you have received that email it is game over, do not waste your time or money pursuing a case that you WILL lose. Just accept that you will never get this item at the error price and move on with your life, you are beginning to look like a fool, and you will be a fool if you try and take on a company who have canceled your order quite legally.

Some posters seem to be under the impression that the terms and conditions companies put out somehow have more weight to them than the law

My OH has just had the same email from Dell. Misprices sometimes come off so they're worth trying... but don't labour under the impression that you have some legal right to the goods
