i understand the idea behind it i think to get money from a bankrupt to pay towards your creditors??
but only if surplus over 100 pounds??
we did our soa on here earlier last week went br on the 5th
people on here seem to be unaware if they are going to get one or not
we ended up with a surplus of £2 if we get housing benefit and a deficit of 200 if not
we figure we will lose one of the cars we own (2 totalling £700) and this may release some more per month however not much as we had to slash the real figures we spend each month to get them to fit into what we actually receive/earn catch my drift ie we cant lose sky but have to lose it somewhere etc
i am worrying a little bit as this sounds like depending on the examiner we have on the day we could have things cut from the soa and a bru employed?
am i corect up till now?
sorry for the ramble it is late and i normally have the benefit of a glass of wine by now but am on antibiotics at mo so none for me till thurs eve doh
not even had a glass of cider to celebrate br yet sob sob!
cheers for listening

Yes it does depend on the examiner. They have certain guidelines but the end decision is theirs. And yes you are correct in you assumption.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

I am talking about where you got the BRO thing from. NIDA was told she may get one today, not IPA's. You sure you are on anti-biotics and not something else:rotfl:Free impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Hi, hope you do not mind me jumping in. It is a BRO I may get as i was offered a loan in May 2008 and accepted it and as i did not use it to pay some of my creditors off it looks bad. I used it to make mininum payments to them, I did not pay a chunk off or pay the lowest and close the accounts. I had no intention a the time of ever going br.
I am sorry if I have got you confused, its hard enough as it is without me stressing you out.0 -
nida dont be daft hunny we ned posts like yours to learn and grow and figure out what will happen to us lol:A
we took loads of credit out last year too and where managing the payments fine till my commission stopped (-13k take home this year) the last credit card we used was in june tsb gave us an interest free card to move mbna too to save us money but the monthly payment doubled!!! so we were worse off!
so we are more concerned that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to decisions rather than worried that we will have to pay money (which we dont have) we remortgaged the house end of 07 and it was undervalued so they didnt give us what they said would to clear everything off so it got used to pay off ccs and prop up our living expenses but we havnt had a holiday for 6 years (honeymoon) and are now scrabbling round to make the rent up this month
we decided to go br end of nov due to work talking about huge losses over the last quarter so realise we will not be getting commission for a while yet and wifes maternity pay has endednow sow another 500 per month less ooops lolBsc no 224
