Mr Cool, you need to get all your payslips out, and work out how many hours you worked, then calculate yourself how much you think you should have been paid. You should then show this calculation to your employer to say that you disagree that you owe them money, and can you see their breakdown of their calculation.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Just to point out that holiday pay is not calculated by including shift allowance or overtime, so if you were contracted to do 15 hours per week, regardless of how many more hours you did the holiday will only be worked out based on the 15 hours.
By the same token if you booked a week off work you would only be using 15 hours worth of holiday."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
Can we name companies on this board?? I have been reading through this post and am in the same situation, everything in this post is exactly what I am going through, but stupid me read the letter and handed a cheque over for £220. I had asked for a breakdown so I could work out if it was right, never received anything but when threatened with action, I paid up. I received my last wage slip and p45 and the figures were completely different, they've even been in touch since asking for £45 more!!! I dont even know if I owed this money! I got the same excuse about holidays I wasn't entitled to and paid full month etc........ Wish I'd not handed a penny over now, could I get it back as I still dont know if I owed it!!!!Quit Day - 8th July 2009.0
