Pension and benefits

Hi I am on incapcity benefit and disabilty living allowance, and have just been medicaly discharged from my job of 25 years am 51 am wondering if it would be a good idea to take part of my pension now it would be 49% of it untill I pass away or wait untill im 65 and then take 100%, if I were to take some of it now would it now would it affect my benefits ????????????????
