unblocking sink

the sink in our small bathroom never run away properly since we moved here 3 years ago despite my husband taking it apart ,he used to be a builder so knows what he is doing , anyway it got so bad fill sink 1/2 hour later still there it blocked completely so i decided to plunge it, i did this for ages got all this black stuff coming out ,then i remembered vinegar so put some in the plug hole with some washing up liquid and left it for 5 minutes plunged it once and it has run perfectly ever since i am gob smacked

another good way to clear the pipes is to sprinkle bicarb of soda down and our vinegar onto it, you hear it fizz and see it froth up. i do this about once a month with my kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower plug holes to keep the pipes clear.£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0

Washing soda followed by boiling water is another good way of unblocking sinks.

i swear by caustic soda*... nothing survives it!
*NB be careful though, it's pretty strong stuff!0
