    No. You don't normally lose those things. If you owe money to your current provider, they could if they wanted to, stop your service and you have to go elsewhere. But a landline is considered essential, there is a small allowance for mobiles and you can pay for internet if you want out of your surplus.

    The whole point of BR is to get your life back.
  • No not unless you have debts with your provider and include them in the bankruptcy, if not you are able to keep them :-)

    oh that is good :)

    What is the max money I can have left over after paying bills each month that will allow my to go BR?

    I know companies like to have at least £100 to get a DMP (currently on one)

    when you say you pay this amount of that and this amount of this do you need evidence?

    No OR's know how much things cost and they know if you are extracting the yellow stuff. If they think you are claiming too much they will ask for evidence.

    Why not pop your SoA up for the chaps to check over

If you don't want them to contact your LL you can ask politly but they have an obligation to tell them. Do you have a tenency agreement? Are you up together with your rent? If so then the OR usually won't bother if you ask him, but that is not a definate. It is up to the OR.

    No problem, hope it is good news today.

    well it's a shared property.

    On the SOA can you put down more than you actually pay? say put the max allowed down even if you don't spend that much?

    Also does someone come to the house to make sure you haven't got anything over £1k to sell?

    INCOME
    1135

    rent 346.66
    debt
    mobile
    travel 50
    web host mum
    BT 12
    Internet
    Food 195
    TV 12
    Hair 10
    Hobbies 20
    Clothes 11
    Holiday 50
    Uni 50

    Total = 756.66
    Left = 378.34

    The items in red I do actually pay
    The items in purple I don't actually pay but adding as these allowed (I think)
    The items in pink vary
    BT should be £20 to include tv, phone & broadband

    I currently pay £350 on a DMP (ends May 2011)
    untill I know about my jobs I don't know if I have the income.

    Is there a list somewhere that says what is & what isn't allowed and the max?
