Hi, I thionk the best bet at the moment would be to start making / saving money NOW! you will be a student for the next 4-5 years and so financ#ially need to be realistic. Agenices are a good option as you can choose how much you want tot worjk and with a wee bit of help and training can let you see a wide range of employment options. Regarding voluntary work abroad, can you postpone this for a eyar? This is so you can plan it properly - there are some great companies out-there - i-i bneing one of them. Giving you this year will also give some time to fundraise for the trip. Try the "Directory of Grant-making trusts" available in the reference section of your local library. Lists all the agencies that can help you both age wise and locally based ones too.
Hope this is of some help. This is a great age to be at and with a bit or planning and research, you're oprtions are well open. Good luck with your plans.
