Investing my Pension in my own Ltd Company

The current climate means bank loans are not so easy. I wish to buy another company and have a private pension that has been untouched or unfunded for 10 years. I wish to use as collateral. Is it possible to use a SIPP to invest in my own company??

Or is there another way to use the Pension assets as collateral. 25% is not enough, I would need the full Pension value.

Advice or ideas well received..

As far as i am aware there is no way you can access more than 25% of your pension. It has to be taken as a pension as that was what you put it in there for.

You can buy commercial property with your SIPP. So, if you have a workshop, business unit or something like that, you could use it. Thats about it though.

If your funding is quite weak and you are having to rely on the pension then you do have to consider if that is an indication that you shouldnt be doing what you are attempting to do.
