Call my cynical, but that could be why they've made the payments so high knowing you'd probably default :rolleyes:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Had a couple from RMA who have taken my debt over from MBNA, so far only asking for payment0

Hi Reevsie - I would almost definately say that your bankruptcy date will come well before the redetermination date - esp if the case is currently at the CCBC in Northampton as there will be a small delay while the case is transferred - the first available date for a redetermination hearing is unlikely to be before March because the lists are so full.
The courts will have set the repayment high because the expenses that we can allow are very strict so even if one of the debt charities have prepared a budget for you we wont be able to include a lot of it unfortunately.
Hope all goes well for you on the 9th x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Then I probably wouldn't waste my energy as you have a court date for bankruptcy.
I would just keep my head down and ride it out till you petition. If they up the ante and start court action then get back to us.

How sneaky is that, fingers crossed we can stump them and supply our BR number, that will shut them up!!Hi Reevsie - I would almost definately say that your bankruptcy date will come well before the redetermination date - esp if the case is currently at the CCBC in Northampton as there will be a small delay while the case is transferred - the first available date for a redetermination hearing is unlikely to be before March because the lists are so full.

Thats good to know. To be honest we haven't included hardly any expenses as we don't have the surplus for them, so I am hoping that what we have included will be allowed. I'll post a SOA nearer the time to make sure its all ok. We go away on Friday for two weeks so will see what is waiting for us when we get back.0

I thought they were at about the same level, or at least not radically different. Explains a thing or two.
Still a bit harsh though (not your fault), considering that the amounts allowed by CCCS etc are already very strict.
