Help with San Francisco wedding....

We're getting married in November in SF and despite lots of digging around, I can't seem to find the 'perfect' location! Argh!
I wonder if anyone with local knowledge or who have been married there can help me out? I also need to try and locate suit hire places there, and somewhere to get my hair and makeup done!
All tips, comments, anything, welcome!!

You can get married in Golden Gate Park! You have to get a permit if there are more than a certain number of people (http://www.nps.gov/goga/planyourvisit/permits.htm), but what a beautiful location. You have to remember too, that in America, you don't have to get married at a "venue" or at a certain time of day. If you have a recognized officiant, you can go anywhere!Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0
