best way to borrow money for purchase of land in ireland

i am looking to purchase some land in southern ireland with possible planning permission. intially i am looking to borrow 15000 for the purchase of the land, any suggestions for the cheapest way of doing this? we have no mortage to borrow against.

You mean you have no property to borrow against? Or you do have a property, but no existing mortgage on it? If it's the latter simplest and probably cheapest is a remortgage against your UK property, otherwise you may have to look to a mortgage in Ireland I would have thought. An unsecured loan here, provided you have the earnings and credit history, is also a possibility - they're almost as cheap as mortgages ATM.greenbrionypops wrote: we have no mortage to borrow against.0
