Makeover/Photoshoot - Possible scam

Isn't it just my luck? I got a call yesterday from Skylite Studios telling me I'd won a makeover/photoshoot with them and I've called back and left a message. I never win anything and I enter most of the competitions here on the forum. This is my first ever win and after doing a bit of research it looks like this is a scam where you don't get the photos for free and you have to pay a deposit. Surely you haven't won anything if you have to pay

Oh well....maybe next time.

People have different opinions on whether these "wins" are good or not. personally I think it is not a WIN if you end up spending money on it...
But I wanted to reply on you saying "i never win anything" some are luckier than others I have to admit, but i will always say to people on here to keep going... you will win in the long run if you keep going.. I do ok and enter roughly 50 a day.
Could be tomorrow?

I had 2 or 3 of these before my first proper win.

To be honest I've had to work very hard to win stuff, I spend a fair few hours comping everyday but I've never won anything worth more than about £150 (actually I've only had about 5 wins worth more than £50). Some people are just luckier than others. It's lovely when you do win stuff but I just do it to keep my brain ticking over
