Calm down, it will all be ok, can you post a SOA (statement of affairs) so that we can try and help with the out goings and get a clearer view of whats going on.

    Good luck

  • Well our household bills go into a joint account which I contribute too I need to pay in £300 exactyl not to let that go overdrawn and to make sure all bills are paid.

My car insurance goes onto a creditcard which I have £220 still to pay before I renew in March.

    Mobile last bill £13.52
    Loan is £110.80
    Halifax Min pymnt £41.55
    V mastercard £24.22
    travel £75

Im not to sure how best to do a SOA. Ive just applied for a further c/c at 0% for 10 mnths so my largest creditcard balance I will transfer over to.

Is that £300 a month including rent? How many of you in the household? Have you looked at switching supplier for your utilities/ phone/ net etc.?

  • There are two of us in the household, my partners wages are not great either. We have both reviewed our bills account and we are paying minimun for most things. It seems to be our weekly food shopping that eats into the money. I work part time as I have a child in school my hours work around that. But I agree the income needs to come in and our food shopping will need to be reduced. We spend on average £65 £70 a week on food for 3 and with that we have nothing in our fridge :(
