Would you still be able to claim what exactly?

I'm not sure what you are asking, you mention a credit card and then go on to talk about a loan?
    :p

You need to be clearer about what you're asking chungoi - please post again and explain.

sorry i have 7 credit cards am in a dmp plan with pay-plan.i started with them in 2003 the credit cards was before then.can i still claim the unfair charges what i have read about.and 1 of the credit cards is with hsbc which at the time the limit was 5000.the bank told me to get a loan off them to clear it .i did this but unforeseen circumstances i put used the credit card up to its max making it 15000.i was OK before the loan and that put me on a spiral to debt.then the other cards just snowballed

You can claim back any charges that occurred during the last 6 years, further back than that you can't. Did you have PPI on the loan? You might be able to claim back that, but I'm not sure.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Hi start by reading this

You will need to do a SAR for each account if you have not kept the paperwork.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

It's a Subject Access Request, they have to give you copies of everything they hold on file about you, including all your past statements. From these you can work out how much you've paid in charges so you know how much to reclaim from them. It costs £10.

I'm not sure about the loan, I'd imagine that they could tell you but I don't know enough about it, I wasn't working when I took out my loans so I told them I didn't want it.
