  • What do you mean? deficit? I can't even spell it lol.
I am on incapacity bringing in £372 four weekly
I get childrens tax credit of £272 four weekly
I get family allowance of £129 every four weeks and hubby earns approx £750 every four weeks after tax.

How should this be written up then please?

I also have not added the £298 per month we were paying to DFD for the IVA. I will have to list all bills seperately but, they amount to 46,000 and 7,000 for the car on hp. Should this also be added in with the SOA?

but all mine ever says is Goodbye!
  • means you are spending more than you earn. you have over £200 in the red so to speak
If you want to see the rainbow ,you gotta put up with some rain
  • This is why we have had to stop paying the IVA as we couldn't afford the payments and yet we are still bringing in what we were when we entered into it. My hubby has been working every sunday 12 hour shifts overtime to get us through but, he is knackered and had enough.

All the main bills though are as they are, I have not split theseso, add our money up total amount is roughly £1532 and bills out roughly £1350 so we are ok but it seems odd when you both have to fill in the soa. Hence why I am here to get it right. Thanks for all your help.

Hi, if you add up the rent, c.tax, elec, gas, water, telephone, tv licence, groceries and holiday - that totals £1125 which you would then divide in two or split how you want it (60/40 or 70/30) then that gives you the amount to put down as your partners contribution on each soa depending of course whether you split it equally or one partner has a larger/smaller share.

then all other expenses like clothing, hair, medical etc are all individual and personal on each soa.

everything on your soa looks ok, can't find anything excessive or too low.

apologies if this doesn't help much. :o:D it will still leave a deficit on each soa though so not sure how the Judge or OR will view that or whether it really matters.

  • Right, I have rehashed everything. I have split the main bills and everything else possible so that we pay half each because that is what we do basically. All our money goes into one account and I pay it all out. Does this look right now. My God, I am finding this bit hard, how am I going to cope with the main papers.
