money off sky thread?

There was a thread on here ( I think) which showed ways to reduce money on your sky package when your contract came to a end. Any ideas where???

Buy a pvr, twin tuner, watch 1 channel whilst recording another 2, freeview, excellent picture/reception, dead easy to use and get rid of sky, :eek:
saved me £25 a month.

This is the one I have a Topfield 5800, 160gb hd, usb, slot for a card, excellent build quality, support has its own forum, everyone who has one loves it, dead easy to use. All freeviews channels including e4, e4+ and cbeebies ( that ones for the kids).

Like Its a.... says cancel Sky, which will revert to freesat and buy a PVR which will give you Sky plus like functionality.

Just thought I'd plug the Humax 8000T/80, only a single tuner but if you already have the Sky box you may not need two tuners.

The Toppy has the twin tuner for recording 2 programs whilst watching another. The sky box (not sky+] is no help, as you can't record to it, so I just gave mine away.
