Returning Goods to John Lewis

Does anyone know the returns policy for john lewis for unwanted gifts as I have never returned anything to them before and dont have a receipt. Any help would be grateful

i believe it states their return policy, including for unwanted gifts, on their website0

They've always been very good whenever I've returned goods to them ... one item developed a fault nearly a year after purchase and they swopped it for a new equivalent without question. I doubt they'd give you a refund but I expect they'll let you exchange it for something else, as long as it's in unused condition. Hope this helps.0

To be honest, I don't really know, but John Lewis offer a great service and are very friendly and professional so I am sure they'll help you in some way; I don't think you'll be refused.

I have just returned a gift to them without a receipt and they were happy to exchange it for anything in the store at the current selling price of the item I was bringing back. I've never had any difficulties with them in returning stuff.0
