not green fingered

*Update* My revived tree has graduated to a pot outside, it's tied to a stick in the pot so it doesn't fall over, hope it survives the weather
Latest news is that a crab apple tree is winding its way to me too

catz hun as it was a sap it needed to be brought in over the winter as this year was the coldest,
if you go and gently bend a branch does it snap?
if not its still alive,
get some straw/string and bubble wrap(im sure you must have some of that)
get some stones/pebbles and place around the base of the tree, bunch the straw around the trunk and tie in place loosely and then wrap bubble wrap from base up to and tuck the tender branchs in (like a brolly)tie up,
it will warm it up and feed it with a dizolveable asprin or 1/2 a bitter each week will pick it up no end and will thrive in the spring hth xx

Not So Bad
aww, that's sad catz , you got to do like bella says, mine was so straggly & weak took a while for it to start getting a bit stronger, then when this bad weather came i covered the beneath with lots of compost, sprinkled those little stones on top (to keep the roots warm) & OH built a little frame which we covered half round with fleece to keep it warm but lets it breathe, hope yours will be ok . please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.
