I don't think I've ever actually had points removed from my card - either when returning items to boots.com or a Boots store icon7.gif

Depends on the staff at the tills, some remove, some can't be bothered! Say you left your card in the AC machine and are waiting for a new one to be sent to you!

Edit - sorry have just seen OP is referring to Boots.com - don't know about this as have never returned anything to them! :o

I sent back a body toner type thing that had 500 extra points. My money has been refunded but to date no points have been removed.

Returned a camera bought 8 months back, they have refunded actual invoice but not bothered to remove 500 points
  • Rather than starting a new thread regarding returns to Boots....

I have some unopened, still packaged as new Eau de Toilette which I was given for my birthday. It was from boots as there is a sticker on the base, but I would like to return it, ideally for a refund, but the problem comes in that my brother who got it for me doesn't have a reciept. Where do I stand on this one? Can I take it back at all, even if it was for a store credit or something? Anyone had experience of this.

    Thanks
  • You should be able to take it back if it is still sealed but they will only exchange it without the reciept. They will not allow you a credit note for later and you have to take items for the full amount as they will not give change. They used to let you have vouchers instead but it is no longer company policy.
