I don't think I've ever actually had points removed from my card - either when returning items to boots.com or a Boots store

mine come off straight away

but apparently you can just lie and say you forgot the AC and keep the points:A Boots Tart :A0 -

Depends on the staff at the tills, some remove, some can't be bothered! Say you left your card in the AC machine and are waiting for a new one to be sent to you!
Edit - sorry have just seen OP is referring to Boots.com - don't know about this as have never returned anything to them!

In the past I've sent back an electric toothbrush which wasen't the one I wanted. It had £30 worth of points attached to it (Boots glitch ages ago) which they never did remove

Rather than starting a new thread regarding returns to Boots....
I have some unopened, still packaged as new Eau de Toilette which I was given for my birthday. It was from boots as there is a sticker on the base, but I would like to return it, ideally for a refund, but the problem comes in that my brother who got it for me doesn't have a reciept. Where do I stand on this one? Can I take it back at all, even if it was for a store credit or something? Anyone had experience of this.
Thanks0 -
You should be able to take it back if it is still sealed but they will only exchange it without the reciept. They will not allow you a credit note for later and you have to take items for the full amount as they will not give change. They used to let you have vouchers instead but it is no longer company policy.0

when i have returned things to boots.com i always call them and ask when the points will be removed, they have always told me that they do not bother too remove them!!0
