                    I have a cold, with a bunged up nose.  A colleague recommended Boots own brand Catarrh Pastilles.  They aren't bad, but the active ingredients are;
Menthol 0.8% w/w
Pumilio Pine Oil 0.6% V/W
Eucalyptus Oil 0.02% V/W
Can I buy these over the counter at the chemist, and just sniff the bottles?

            I just put pure Eucalyptus oil on my pillow at night and that does the trick. If I'm in the house I put a few drops on my tshirt, but this can stain so you may not want to do that on 'good' clothes.0

            I also use Eucalyptus oil on a tissue and in an oil burner to help me breath. Albas oil is pretty much the same stuff - with a hefty price tag
 And good old fashioned vicks rubbed into the back of the chest really helps0

 Its Olbas oil you silly witch (how are you?). I swear by Olbas oil and their sucky things. Chesty? Lots of the oil rubbed in and suck the pastilles. They may be dearer my little Sukikins, but they are the best and I would rather pay a bit more when I am in misery - like now...I also use Eucalyptus oil on a tissue and in an oil burner to help me breath. Olbas oil is also good for aches and pains in muscles and growing pains too - bet you didn't know that .. Genie Genie
