  • Its a 2-way street.No employer wants to see Amy winehouse hair style at their reception. During telephone interview, you could get a pic of who you are chatting with might be discriminatory though.

  • Worth stating that all government positions require photos to be given. If they could be done for it someone would have checked by now. They go a bit loopy with the old risk assessments. Had them for various Jobcentre ones and Home Office positions.

    Personally I wouldn't worry but hey I'm very easy going :)

    aldi used you ask for store jobs :confused: when advertised in paper don't if they still do

    recently when i checked their website where you can apply for jobs doesn't say anything just CV and COVER letter.

    Race? Often able to judge this from a photo.

    I wouldn't ask for a photo when recruiting - unless it were for a high security post where interviewees needed to have photo IDs.
