Thank you! I carried my comping phone around all day, hoping it would ring but nothing happened. I got the usual losing message yesterday and no message again today. I reckon it's just glitchy. :rolleyes:

It seems that I owe an apology to "VelvetGlove" Although I knew that your comping guide existed that was because I had seen quotations of what people have used on threads So basically I didn't realise there was a massive "in ya face!" sticky at the top of the forum It certainly wasn't there when I first started comping a few years ago and nothing had seemed to have changed and I didn't consider myself to be new to comping so I didn't really feel the need to read through it I am really sorry- It must be annoying to see so many questions that you have already answered in your guide.... xx

You also have some great tips in there and I agree that you deffo deserve to win all the way I recommend reading it (even to regular compers as it isn't just a "getting started" guide like I thought it was)...

And if the "We Live Luxury Lifestyles all because of the competitions" comment was directed at me then errr no I don't think comping provides a lifestyle of luxury- I gave it up after a mega dry patch a while back

I noticed that some people say they enter up to 400 competitions a day :eek: and basically just wanted to know where you get the extra comps from that don't appear on MSE

I don't enter that many, but wonder if you were to count up all the competitions posted, not only on the main thread, but also on the dailies, the weeklies and the postal and texts part, if they would then end up at 400. Also, some of the comps, for example the radio station ones, are posted on more than one radio station and you could enter on each station.

pnq06 not sure why you thought my post was aimed at you but thats the first time I've read one of your posts (I think) so dont really know you to be able to aim a post at you My posts aren't to be taken seriously most of the time I was just having a bit of a laugh at the competition which is posted as a sticky by Martin;)

Yep I agree, I recon you could easily notch up that much each day just from comps on here, esp if end of month comps are being spread out over the month too

My fault again When a thread gets this long it gets a bit difficult to follow

I thought Catz post was aimed at me wanting to know where and how to find comps when VelvetGloves guide existed and I thought you agreed and meant that I wanted an easy answer as to how to live off comping

I think I'm gonna stop posting and putting my foot in it now :rotfl::T xx

I'm the as you, I don't enter that many either (prizes don't suit in a lot of comps so would be wasted on me) but I do look through most of them so I guess that it would total around 400 if added up and entered into each. I've tried "the other" sites too but they mostly seem to be copied from here And I have tried local comps but they seem to be few and far between... TBH I most wanted to know where to find comps so I could contribute but again VelvetGloves guide helped answer that :j

Thanks for replying. I deleted my post because I thought it was a stupid question as it was probably in the dailies section. Having looked, it's not. Is that where it should be?

Original question was do people prefer competitions like this one http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1600905 that are daily but with different comps and questions each day to be as one thread or separate threads? I asked because if people enter near the closing date then they will have missed most of the competitions.
