Hey, just saw this on the board, and thought I'd share an experience:
Adopted ourcat, Alan, from a family who swore he would only eat Go Cat. So we fed him Go Cat, and it seemed to make him happy but he'd never finish a bowl, and he seemed too lethargic for a 1 year old cat. We took him to the vet who was horrified. Direct quote: "Go Cat is like MacDonalds for cats"
We buy IAMS now, and the difference since we changed him onto IAMS is huge. It seems expensive, but it works out at about the same price, and it's a small price to pay for the health of your kitty cat.
Nothing to do with the freebie: I just wanted to make sure any cat lovers out there knew the score.0 -
